PITTSFIELD, MASS, November 21, 2013 – Berkshire Bank, America’s Most Exciting Bank® and NESN, New England’s most watched sports network, jointly announced today that Berkshire Bank will become the official bank of Boston Bruins coverage on the network for the 2013-14 season. The agreement includes sponsorship of NESN’s “Hockey Night in New England” broadcast for the regular season and the playoffs in addition to online and digital promotion elements.

The partnership will feature Berkshire’s “Life is exciting. Let us help” commercial spots during NESN’s Bruins pre-game, game and post-game coverage as well as a presenting sponsorship of NESN’s Hockey Night in New England that includes news from the rink, starting lineups and commentary from NESN’s experts. Berkshire Bank’s sponsorship with NESN will also include an in-game and online consumer promotion.

Receive an assist with your mortgage for a year through the Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind Sweepstakes Heralded by Banker & Tradesman as a top ten mortgage lender in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Berkshire Bank is teaming with NESN to randomly select one winner and assist them with their mortgage. Called the Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind Sweepstakes, NESN analyst Andy Brickley breaks down game footage throughout the season to illustrate top plays and game changing moments. Viewers will be encouraged to watch each Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind on nesn.com/BerkshireBank and vote monthly for their favorite. Monthly winners will be randomly selected to win a Kindle Fire HD. At the end of the hockey season, one person will be awarded the grand prize of having Berkshire assist them with their monthly mortgage payments for a calendar year.
