Courtesy Paysm Overdraft Protection Solution
Courtesy Paysm may help you avoid the embarrassment of returned checks.
It's a feature of your checking account where we will consider payment of your occasional or
inadvertent overdrafts up to your Courtesy Paysm overdraft limit. With Courtesy Paysm,
you'll know that your checks, and other eligible transaction types will be considered for payment
with your Courtesy Paysm limit, rather than being automatically returned unpaid, as long as you
maintain your account in good standing.
Overdraft Protection for your ATM transactions and debit card purchases.
The convenience of Courtesy Paysm will be available for your ATM transactions and debit card
purchases. Rather than automatically declining your ATM transaction and debit card purchases when there are insufficient funds in your account, we will consider payment of your reasonable overdrafts.
Courtesy Paysm can mean . . .
- Protection for ATM transaction and debit card purchases
- Avoiding the embarrassment and expense of a returned check
- Payment of your overdrafts up to:
- $750 for personal checking accounts
- $1,500 for business checking accounts will automatically be considered
- Less aggravation
Our standard NSF/overdraft fee of $28.00 will apply
to overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawals,
ATM withdrawals, debit or POS transactions that would
create an overdraft. Remember, your “available balance”
displayed on the ATM screen and/or printed on your receipt
does include the Courtesy Paysm limit that
may be available on your account.
Important:
To avoid creating an overdraft, you may stop the ATM/debit card transaction by pressing “cancel” at any
time prior to completing a withdrawal, transfer or purchase. We will send you a notice each time an overdraft occurs. Of course, we are not promising to always pay your overdrafts with this discretionary service, and not all accounts are eligible, and some restrictions do apply.
