Berkshire Bank’s Futures Fund Program

Berkshire Bank’s Futures Fund program provided a low-interest line of credit up to $50,000 for small businesses that are majority-owned and led by historically marginalized and underrepresented individuals. Launched in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program has provided over $1.7 million in low-interest credit to small businesses led by historically marginalized individuals.

The Futures Fund program is no longer accepting new applications as we enter an exciting new phase of our work to lift-up our communities. While the program is going on a temporary pause, we are actively exploring alternatives to better support the needs of small businesses in our community. We expect to share more details on an enhanced, higher-impact Futures Fund program to help marginalized small businesses in the months ahead.
