Branch Lobby Update

Dear Valued Customers,

     

We hope this note finds you safe and well. From now through 7/13/20, we will be reopening our branch lobbies to walk-in traffic. We can’t wait to see you!  
 
We’ve also reopened even more branch offices on Saturdays. Please click here for a current list of branches with Saturday availability. As always, you can make an appointment to pick the day and time that is most comfortable to you.

Berkshire Bank remains committed to taking every necessary precaution to protect our employees, customers, and communities in an effort to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  As we look to safely reopen our business to our customers, we will continue to implement strategies that allow us to ensure we are available to serve you in our branches while supporting social distancing. Please see below the safety guidelines we’ve put in place to protect you and our employees:

 

  • In accordance with CDC guidance and local government recommendations and mandates, we require that both our customers and employees wear face coverings at all times in our branches. If you choose not to wear a face covering, we kindly ask you use our full service drive-up and other flexible banking services.  Click here to learn more about our flexible banking options.
  • Hand sanitizing stations have been installed in each one of our branch lobbies.
  • Our locations have daily overnight cleaning to ensure frequently touched areas are being disinfected and sanitized as well as periodic cleaning during the day for high touch surfaces.
  • Limited the number of customers and employees in each location in accordance with local occupancy and social distancing restrictions.
  • We have added directional signage, door clings, posters and floor markers to help manage the flow of traffic and remind everyone of our responsibility to maintain social distancing.
  • We have installed protective shielding at our Customer Service lines and a number of our desk locations.
  • Daily health screening is conducted with all employees.
  • Due to wearing face coverings in our lobbies, we may ask that you present your ID when conducting business with us and for identification purposes, we may ask you to “dip” your mask or face covering.
