BOSTON, MA - March 12, 2021 -- Berkshire Bank, a purpose-driven community bank announced an addition to their Asset Based Lending Team in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Ben Garcia, SVP, ABL Relationship Manager. Mr. Garcia joined Berkshire Bank in March of 2021 and previously worked for Wells Fargo Capital Finance as a Business Development Officer. Berkshire’s ABL group supports lower middle market companies throughout the Mid Atlantic and New England regions with a portfolio size of approximately $800 million in commitments.
 
Ben is an industry veteran, coming over after 20+ years at Wells Fargo sourcing a variety of ABL transactions from $2MM to $50MM in deal size.  Ben is a great fit to the team and bolsters our presence and coverage in Northern NJ/NY.

Ben Garcia has worked in the financial services arena for over 30 years, providing a high level of passion and first-class service to his clients. He is a graduate of Rutgers University.

Ben Garcia is an active member with more than 20 years in national and local finance organizations such as the NY, NJ and National SFNet, the Turnaround Management Association metro NY chapters, Association for Corporate Growth metro NY Chapters, Garden State Credit Association, and he volunteers on several executive boards with the Commercial Finance League.
