Berkshire Bank Names Jim Kane, FVP, Regional Financial Center Manager

Pittsfield, MA – Berkshire Bank, a leading, socially responsible community bank with financial centers in New England and New York, is pleased to announce Jim Kane has joined Berkshire as FVP, Regional Financial Center Manager, servicing the greater Berkshire County area.

In his role, he will oversee 15 financial centers and work with a seasoned group of commercial partners to drive exceptional customer service as a community leader in the Berkshire market.” stated Ryan Shorette, senior vice president, director of financial center banking. Kane will manage the daily operations of financial centers in the greater Pittsfield area, North and South counties. 

With an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford, Kane’s background includes over 15 years in financial services with  various roles in retail banking through his tenure. Prior to joining Berkshire Bank, Kane worked for Webster Bank for the last six years. Most recently he was a regional sales & service coach, and a consumer bank internal controls manager.
