Berkshire Bank Welcomes Jason Carosi SVP, Asset Based Lending Relationship Manager

Providence, RI – Berkshire Bank, a leading community bank with financial centers in New England and New York, welcomes Jason Carosi as SVP, Asset Based Lending Relationship Manager. He will be based in Providence, RI.

“With Jason’s two decades of banking industry experience, we are pleased to welcome him to the Asset Based Lending (ABL) team. His diverse lending background will help us provide a high level of customer service throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island while working with ABL clients,” stated Senior Managing Director, Asset Based Lending, Mark Foster.

Carosi brings 20 years of banking and financial industry experience to his new role at Berkshire, where he will be responsible for developing and servicing a variety of mid-to-large sized ABL loans throughout Southern New England. Carosi will also handle more complex loans to ensure borrowers’ banking needs are met by working with credit and closing teams.

 

Prior to joining Berkshire, Carosi served as SVP, senior relationship manager at Customers Bank, where he was responsible for overseeing middle-market and CRE clients and sourcing new lending and deposit opportunities. During his nine-year tenure at Webster Bank in Providence, RI, he served as SVP, senior relationship manager and was responsible for acquiring, integrating and optimizing new and existing client relationships. Carosi also spent eight years at Bank Rhode Island and was responsible for the portfolio management of a $100MM+ commercial loan portfolio.

Outside of work, Jason is an active member of his community who has served on boards and takes time to volunteer. He is a Board Member, coach and volunteer for Cranston West Little League, an advocate and volunteer for Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA), an advocate and volunteer for the Autism Project, and has served as past chairman to the Rhode Island Leadership Board for the American Lung Association.

Carosi earned his Master of Business Administration at Bryant University and his Bachelor of Science degree at Providence College. He is also a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island and in 2019 was a Providence Business News 40 under 40 award recipient. 

Carosi resides in Cranston, RI with his wife Shannon and their son Jason and dog Happy.
