Berkshire Bank Welcomes Milly Deane, SVP Commercial Relationship Manager to Commercial Banking Team

Albany, NY Berkshire Bank, a leading community bank with financial centers in New England and New York, welcomes Milly Deane, as SVP, commercial relationship manager, CRE (Commercial Real Estate) serving the Capital Region of New York state.

Berkshire’s Regional President, New York State & Managing Director – Commercial Real Estate, James J Morris IV, shared, “I am excited to announce the addition of Milly to the Commercial Banking team. Her extensive combined experience within the banking industry is a strong asset for helping our clients with financing, working capital, and credit needs.”

At Berkshire, Milly will be responsible for originating new commercial real estate loans and lines, managing a sizable portfolio, and representing Berkshire in the community.
 
Milly Deane joins Berkshire Bank with 35 years of banking industry knowledge. Previously, she served as SVP and regional manager at Community Preservation Corp. (CPC) helping to lend on and manage all forms of commercial real estate lending, with an emphasis on affordable housing. Deane also spent 27 years at Citizens Bank originating and managing construction loans for community reinvestment act (CRA) eligible and affordable housing tax credit projects across New York and Vermont. 
 
Outside of work, Deane serves on the Board of Directors of T.R.I.P of Troy and ACES, a subsidiary of the Community Loan Fund of Albany.  She also volunteered for 10 years as a Victim Advocate for the Sexual Assault and Crime Victims Program for Rensselaer County.
