Berkshire Bank’s XTEAM donates more than 6,000 hours during its annual Xtraordinary Day
BOSTON, MA (June 13, 2019) – Over 90% of Berkshire Bank’s employees came together on June 6th for the bank’s fourth annual Xtraordinary Day of Service. During this day, the bank closes its offices early to empower employees to volunteer in their local communities.

Employees from the bank volunteered over 6,000 hours at 37 projects throughout the bank’s footprint. The projects focused on ending hunger, providing affordable housing, helping those with disabilities and assisting a variety of community-focused non-profit programs.
