SBA Recognizes Berkshire Bank as Top Capital Region Large Commercial Lender in Upstate New York for Fiscal Year 2019
Pittsfield, MA (NOVEMBER 12, 2019) – The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) has recognized Berkshire Bank as the top Capital region large commercial lender across the 34-country Syracuse district for fiscal year 2019. 2019 marks the first year that Berkshire Bank has been recognized in the large commercial lender category. The Bank has previously been recognized as an SBA top lender in the national categories as well.
In fiscal year 2019, Berkshire Bank approved 24 small business loans in the Upstate New York region, for a total value of $11.1 million. In total, loan approvals in the region were valued at $172.9 million for fiscal year 2019.
