Saratoga Regional Health Center to expand access to health care in Saratoga County in NY

Project, which will be home to up to 340 jobs, celebrates ‘topping-out’ milestone with beam signing

ALBANY, June 6, 2025 — The Saratoga Regional Health Center, a multimillion-dollar project expected to be home to up to 340 jobs in Wilton, New York, celebrated its “topping-out” construction milestone yesterday with a beam-signing ceremony attended by more than 70 project stakeholders and guests.

The 125,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical facility will be located on Route 9, minutes away from downtown Saratoga Springs. The project brings together leading specialty practices as both tenants and co-owners: OrthoNY, EyesNY, Northeastern New York Surgical Center, Albany ENT & Allergy Services, and Saratoga Schenectady Gastroenterology Associates. It will feature an OrthoNY ambulatory surgery center, as well as Northeastern New York Surgical Center, a multispecialty surgical facility.

The facility, which will help address unmet health care needs in the region outlined in the 2022 Saratoga County Community Health Assessment Survey, is slated to open next year at 612 Maple Ave. in Wilton.

Albany-based Paulsen Development is the project developer. Berkshire Bank is helping to finance the project. Albany-based BBL Construction Services is the project general contractor.

“The Saratoga Regional Health Center represents five years of hard work to bring high-quality specialty care to Saratoga County,” said Dr. Leonard Goldstock, a developer on the project who is also a surgeon with OrthoNY.

“This facility will directly address the needs identified in the 2022 Saratoga County Community Health Assessment Survey, including long wait times, limited access to care and growing demand for outpatient services.”

James J. Morris IV, Berkshire’s New York Market President, was among those who attended the June 5 event. “Access to high-quality care should never depend on your zip code,” Morris said. “As a community-focused, relationship driven bank, we are very pleased to provide financing for this project, as well as our team’s industry-leading expertise, to help bring it to life and ensure everyone gets the health care they need when and where they need it, here in Saratoga County and beyond.”
