Bryan is a seasoned Small Business Banker with over 25 years’ experience, successfully helping clients achieve their financial goals. Previous organizations include Webster Bank, Key Bank, First Niagara, and Citigroup. When not working or spending time with his son or daughter. Bryan enjoys playing his guitars, fishing, or traveling with his wife Sharon of 32 years.
Joe has worked in Retail Banking for 20 plus years providing solutions to the clients he serves. While having worked for several banks, including Trustco Bank, TD Bank and NBT, he found himself gravitating towards all things Small Business. He gets a great deal of satisfaction from helping his clients get to the next level. Whether that is a loan for a new piece of equipment, solutions for processing credit cards or a plan for retirement. Joe enjoys volunteering with several non-profits like the Elizabeth Freeman Center in Pittsfield.
Joe has been married to his wife Lisa for 25 years and his daughter Madison just graduated from college. When not working, you can find the Lotanos out enjoying the cultural offerings of the Berkshires or riding their motorcycle throughout New England and New York.
Melissa Burgess is an experienced Small Business Banker with over 20 years in the banking industry. Prior to joining the team Melissa gained a great deal of experience in many areas of banking starting her career as Branch Manager, Mortgage Lender, and Small Business.
In her current role she is dedicated to finding solutions for our business customers in order to manage their accounts with ease and grow their business. Her extensive experience in banking and customer service allows her to bring a tremendous amount of insight in enhancing the customer experience at Berkshire Bank. She enjoys the feeling of being a partner in the success of her customers business.
Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Curry College and is committed to servicing the business community in Eastern MA. She is a current member of Chamber of Commerce in Marlboro and Boston. Some of her hobbies and interests include visiting museums, hiking nature trails, travel, spending time with her daughter.
Laura is a Small Business banker who has been in the retail space for 24 years and the banking industry for 13 years. Her passion for helping people is what led her to the financial industry. She has worked with both consumer and business clients who want to grow in their communities or help their communities grow.
Laura and her husband are originally from Long Island. They have 2 daughters 14 and 9, and a rescued American Stafford/Pitbull mix! Her husband has been a fire fighter for 30 years and was part of the rescue efforts through 9/11 while she stayed back on the Island volunteering to help families get through those tragic times. They have lived upstate for 18 years now and love it. Laura's children are also volunteers for their local Rotterdam Challenger Tri-County baseball league for disabled adults. Her older daughter is a coach, and younger daughter helps her with raising money at games, refreshments, and anything else they need. Since her younger daughter has a hearing disability she loves to be empowered and empower folks by showing off her hearing aides and stating they all can be who they are without judgement and should stand proud to be who they are!
When they are not working, they are playing board games, camping, visiting family on Long Island, volunteering in their community and just hanging out!
As a Small Business Banker, Laura is dedicated to helping small businesses find what their pain points are and ease them, give them peace of mind that they have a future of growth, but also help them create a plan to at some point retire, knowing that they can comfortably and when they see fit.
